KNX is the open building-automation standard governed by the KNX Association, used across European residential and light-commercial buildings to integrate HVAC, lighting, blinds, and metering over a shared twisted-pair or IP bus. HVAC API support is planned via KNX gateway access to expose temperature, setpoint, and mode controls for any KNX-compliant HVAC actuator or room controller.
