Sanyo was a prominent VRF and packaged AC manufacturer whose HVAC business was absorbed by Panasonic in 2009; legacy Sanyo equipment remains widely deployed in European and APAC commercial retrofits and continues to require active service integration. HVAC API support is planned via Modbus and BACnet to enable monitoring and setpoint control for Sanyo VRF and split AC units still in service.
